What is concierge medicine?

Concierge medicine is a membership-based model of healthcare that gives you direct access to your doctor without the long waits or rushed visits common in traditional primary care. At Three Rivers, you’ll enjoy same-day or next-day appointments, extended visits, and 24/7 access to your physician for urgent concerns.

How much does membership cost?

Membership is $225 per month. This flat fee covers unlimited visits, direct communication with your doctor, care coordination, and preventive health planning. You’ll still use your insurance for labs, imaging, medications, and specialist visits.

Does the membership fee replace my insurance premium?

No. The membership fee does not replace your insurance premium. Insurance is still required for services outside our office—such as hospital care, imaging, prescriptions, and specialist visits. Your membership ensures you have unlimited time, direct access, and preventive care with your physician, while your insurance continues to cover the broader healthcare system.

How does concierge care work with my insurance?

You’ll continue using your insurance for services such as labs, imaging, prescriptions, and specialist referrals. Your membership fee covers the time, access, and direct physician relationship at Three Rivers. This model ensures you get the best of both worlds—the convenience and personalization of concierge care, plus the broader coverage your insurance provides.

Are membership fees HSA and FSA deductible?

Yes. Membership fees at Three Rivers Concierge Medicine are eligible for Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) use, making it easier to incorporate concierge care into your healthcare budget.

What makes Three Rivers different from traditional primary care?

  • Appointments last 30–60 minutes (compared to the typical 10–15).
  • Same-day or next-day scheduling.
  • Direct text and phone access to your doctor.
  • In-body and in-office diagnostic equipment to guide precision health decisions.
  • Comprehensive care coordination with specialists and hospitals so nothing falls through the cracks.

How many patients does each doctor see?

Each physician at Three Rivers limits their panel to 500 patients or fewer. In traditional practices, one doctor may be responsible for 2,500+ patients. By keeping panels intentionally small, we ensure time, access, and highly personalized care.

Do you have a waitlist?

Yes. Because panels are capped at 500 patients per physician, we often maintain a waitlist. If we are full, we’ll place your name on the list and notify you as soon as a spot opens. We encourage scheduling a meet-and-greet early if you’re considering joining.

Who is concierge medicine right for?

Our patients include:

  • Busy professionals who value time and accessibility.
  • Adults seeking proactive, preventive healthcare.
  • Individuals planning major life changes (such as pregnancy).
  • Adults managing complex or chronic health issues who need close coordination and extra time with their physician.
  • Those frustrated with rushed, fragmented traditional care.

Do you see children or teens?

At this time, Three Rivers provides care for adults ages 18 and older only. We may expand to pediatric care in the future, but currently memberships are limited to adults.

What does the membership include?

  • Unlimited office visits with extended appointment times.
  • Annual wellness planning and preventive screenings.
  • Nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle guidance.
  • Direct access to your doctor via phone, text, or secure message.
  • In-body and in-office diagnostics to track your health.
  • Care coordination with specialists and hospitals.

What’s the difference between Concierge Care and Executive Care?

Concierge Care is for individuals who want direct, personalized healthcare through a monthly membership.

Executive Care is designed for businesses that want to provide this same level of care to their leadership teams or employees as a company-sponsored benefit. Executive Care emphasizes same-day access, comprehensive annual exams, preventive health planning, and minimizing time away from work while ensuring confidentiality.

At Three Rivers, we provide both Concierge Care and Executive Care. You can learn more about our Executive Care program here.

What’s the difference between Direct Primary Care and Concierge Care?

Both models charge a flat membership fee, but Direct Primary Care (DPC) usually operates without billing insurance at all.

At Three Rivers, we practice Concierge Care:

  • Your membership fee covers access, extended visits, and direct physician communication.
  • Insurance is still billed for labs, imaging, medications, and outside services.
  • This blended model gives you the personal access of DPC with the broader coverage of insurance when you need care beyond our office.

Can I meet the doctor and tour the office before joining the concierge practice?

Yes. We offer a complimentary meet-and-greet visit where you can get to know the physician, tour our office, and ask questions before deciding if concierge care is right for you.

Do you offer virtual visits?

Yes. Virtual visits are available for times when coming to the office isn’t convenient. This allows you to stay connected with your physician whether you’re traveling, busy at work, or just prefer the convenience of telemedicine.

What happens if I need hospital care?

If hospitalization is required, we coordinate closely with the admitting team and specialists to ensure continuity of your care. While we do not replace hospital physicians, we stay in close communication to advocate for you and help guide decisions.

Can I cancel my membership?

Memberships are available on an annual or semi-annual commitment. This structure ensures stability in care planning and panel size. If your circumstances change, we’ll work with you to transition your care appropriately.
